Some words from Pupils at Bury Grammar School

Snippets from articles written by pupils at Bury Grammar School about their visit to Bury and The Fusilier Museum.

Last year we welcomed a small group of students from the Young Reporters at Bury Grammar School. They were tasked with finding out what there is to do in Bury and to write an article based on their findings. Of course, The Fusilier Museum featured heavily in their reports so we’d like to share a few snippets with you all.

Thank you to the students who visited and to the teachers for bringing them as well as sharing their findings. We think they did an excellent job and in terms of our marketing/ unique selling points we think they have hit the nail on the head several times. Happy Reading!

“The Fusilier Museum is a fascinating place to go if you want to learn about the past. It’s packed full of incredible information for adults and kids to enjoy.”

“It’s not just reading on a wall. There is so much more to see including medals, uniforms, memorabilia, maps, statues, paintings and photos.”

Oscar

“ Perfect to keep you entertained for 3-4 hours.” Ava

“ The museum is very well priced at just £4.95 for an adult ticket. Such cheap prices guarantee enjoyment and will allow for all people of all incomes to enjoy!”

“The Fusilier Museum is a must-do experience and is definitely Bury’s Best value day out.”

Toby

“The Fusilier Museum is a fun couple of hours guaranteed fun especially for those interested in military history.”

“ Do not be fooled. This will not be presented in the form of some boring wall of text, but rather it forces the visitor to interact with the museum, with fun games, quizzes and objects from the time. There was even a room piled full of medals from various campaigns with even Victoria Crosses on display.”
